Arrival at the Airport, where you will meet/greet the guide/driver. You will be visiting the Hassan ll Mosque, which was completed in 1993 and is one of the largest mosques in the world. Continue on to the city of Rabat the capitol of Morocco. Rabat is located on the Atlantic coastline at the mouth of the river BouRegreg, opposite the twin city of Sale. The first stop will be at the Kasbah Oudayas. Next on the agenda is the fascinating site of the Hassan Tower dating back to 1185. The minaret rises up to 44 meters, and was believed that it would reach 88 meters. However in 1755 it was largely destroyed by an earthquake. Opposite the Hassan Tower is the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, a monument of modern Morocco. This amazing white architecture capped by a green (the color of Islam) pyramid shaped roof is the final resting place of the King and his two sons. Following the tour of the mausoleum you will visit the Chellah Kasbah, which is the site of an ancient Roman city and necropolis. This site was abandoned in 1154 AD. In 1339 Sultan Abu 1-Hasan built monuments, main gate, mosque and tombs.Which is where he was eventually laid to rest. This site has since become a tourist venue and hosts the international “Festival of Jazz” each year. Distance: 90 km (55.923 miles).
After breakfast, leaving Rabat you will head to Meknes to visit the main attractions such as the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail the founder of the city and Lahdim Square. Moulay Ismail was the most notorious Sultan of all. From here you will continue to the ancient ruins of Volubilis, which is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage site. After the tour of Volubilis you will be off to Fez where you will unwind for the evening. Distance: 208 km (129.245 miles).

Also known as Fes el Bali, this UNESCO World Heritage Site was founded in the 9th century, and is home to the world's oldest university. The city of Fes reached its true economic and cultural height in the 13th–14th centuries under the Merinids, when it replaced Marrakech as the capital of the kingdom. Fes has retained its status as the country's Artisan centre. Artisan workshops in the medina are as active today as they were 100 years ago, and strongly contribute to the city’s industrial economy. Trades such as blacksmithing, leather working, ceramics, silk, tapestries, and sculpting are still practiced in these workshops today. The original ramparts still protect this ancient city and its estimated 9000 narrow passageways and bustling streets. Today’s adventure will begin with a drive to Merzouga. You will pass through the city of Ifrane, which is considered the coldest place in Morocco. Ifrane is also known as the Switzerland of Morocco because of the housing architecture and snowfall. Continue your journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains to the Cedar forest in Azrou, which is 3940 feet in elevation. Here you will have the opportunity to feed the endangered Barbary (Macaque) Monkeys. You will then continue to travel the scenic roads through the Atlas Mountains, stopping for lunch and heading to Ziz the valley of palm groves. Continuing to Merzouga, here you will meet your next mode of transportation, a camel. You will ride your camel for approximately an hour and a half, to the tent in the Berber Camp situated in the dunes. Here you will experience the life of a nomad, eat the food and enjoy the sound of Berber music. The tents are equipped with comfortable beds, blankets and pillows. Enjoy the picturesque sunset, peacefulness, and abundant stars. Distance 466 kn (289.559 Miles).
Early this morning your journey will begin with a breathtaking sunrise in the desert. The sun rises just behind the Algerian border approximately 50 km (31.1 miles) from Merzouga. When the sun makes its glorious entrance for the day you will hop back on the camel and ride back to the hotel, where you have breakfast. After breakfast you will head towards the gorges, stopping off in Rissani, here you will see the historic monument of Sijilmasa. The ruins of Sijilmassa are recognized by the Would Monument Fund as an endangered site. However the Moroccan Ministry of Culture preserve what remains. Along the way you will visit many Kasbahs, large souk, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif, He was considered the founder of the Alaouite Dynasty of Morocco. The drive continues through the High Atas Mountains to the Ziz Valley and a walk through the extraordinary Todgha Gorge. The rock formations are an invitation for the adventurous rock climbers. Back in the car you will pass through the town of KelaatMgouna, also known as the Valley of Roses where the Festival of Roses is celebrated at the end of May each year. Today’s excursion will end in Ourzazate where you will relax for the evening. Distance: 366 km (227.421 miles).
Following breakfast, you will head to the city of Ouarzazate which is known as the Hollywood of Morocco because of the Cinema Studios. Many famous movies were filmed here such as Cleopatra, Kingdom of Heaven, Gladiator, Kundun& Game of Thrones. From here you will drive to the most famous Kasbah in Morocco, Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. The fortified village and Kasbah is situated in the hills along the Ounila River. Ait Ben Haddou has been an UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. Many films have been produced in the Kasbah including: The Message, The Mummy, Alexander and Babel. After the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah tour, you will have lunch while viewing the panoramic backdrop. After lunch the journey continues through the High Atlas Mountains where the altitude reaches 2260 M in Tichka Pass. After a long day you will reach Marrakech to put your feet up for the evening. Distance: 200 km (124.274 miles).
After pick up from the airport of Marrakech, our driver and a licensed English local guided will meet you and take you in a guided tour to explore some of the best monuments and attraction in the city, you will be visiting the 12th century Koutoubia Mosque,You will also visit the El-Bahia Palace,The Saadian Tombs, The Koranic School Medersa Ben Youssef,Djemaa El Fna Square, and the Medina Central Souks.
Today you will take a full-day trip to Essaouira from Marrakech and spend time in the laid-back fishing town. Leaving Marrakech at 08:00, you will be transported through the vast and breathtaking Moroccan landscape, peppered with a few scattered villages, some camels, sheep, and goats grazing in the countryside. Enter the charming blue and white town of Essaouira to explore its artistic wonders at leisure. Stroll along the quays and watch the fishermen unloading their catch of the day, and the brightly-painted fishing boats coming back to shore. Or enjoy the many fine restaurants at the port, and dine on freshly caught fish and seafood. Drive back to Marrakech. Accommodation at a Riad or Hotel.
Today’s excursion will take you to Ourika Valley escaping the hustle and bustle of the city of Marrakech. This an ever-changing scenic drive to the Ourika Valley, which is the closest day trip from Marrakech. However it’s not just the convenience that makes it special. The drive through towards the Atlas Mountains, taking in the beautiful landscape of green meadows and authentic 16th and 17th century Berber villages. If you take your tour on a Monday, you can stop at a roadside souk. Beautiful fruit orchards and villages clinging to the side of hills. Marvel at the labor undertaken by the Berbers who hoisted materials to construct small houses up on the mountain side, in hostile environmental conditions. Continue along the valley of palm trees, following the Ourika River. Fruit trees, tiny hamlets, riverside restaurants, and the summer homes of the wealthy will keep you entertained. You will then visit SettiFatma to feel and see the serenity of the waterfalls. Return to Marrakech following the waterfalls of Setti Fatma.
