Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat

Your Casablanca travel tour will start with a pick up from the airport in Casablanca. You will drive to Casablanca where you will have the opportunity to visit the Hassan ll Mosque which was completed in 1993 and is one of the largest mosques in the world, and have a walk in the coastal Cornish seaside. Following the tour of Casablanca you will continue to Rabat, which is the capitol of Morocco. While in Rabat- the Capital of Morocco-you will visit Hassan Tower, the Oudaya Kasbah and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Accommodation will be at a Riad/Hotel in Rabat.

Day 2: Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes

After breakfast, leaving Rabat and drive to Meknes to visit the main attraction : Bab Mansour, the Sahrij Souani Bassin and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum and Lahdim Square. You will have a break for lunch,then you will continue to the well preserved site of the Romans in Morocco: Volubilis dating to 25BC, which is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage site. After that, you will continue driving to Fes through the Rif Mountains. Accommodation will be at a riad/hotel.

Day 3: Exploring Fes

Your guide will meet you at your hotel in the morning. You will explore the cultural and spiritual center of Morocco during this full day tour of Fes. Also known as Fes el Bali, this UNESCO World Heritage Site was founded in the 9th century, and is home to the world's oldest university. The city of Fes reached its true economic and cultural height in the 13th–14th centuries under the Merinids, when it replaced Marrakech as the capital of the kingdom. Fes has retained its status as the country's Artisan centre. Artisan workshops in the medina are as active today as they were 100 years ago, and strongly contribute to the city’s industrial economy. Trades such as blacksmithing, leather working, ceramics, silk, tapestries, and sculpting are still practiced in these workshops today. The original ramparts still protect this ancient city and its estimated 9000 narrow passageways and bustling streets. Your visit includes :The MedersaBouInania, Bab Boujloud, The Splendid fountain at Place Nejjarine, The Mellah - The Jewish Quarter, Souks, The Chaouwara tanneries.

Day 4: Fes – Cedar Forest – Midelt

Today’s adventure will begin with a drive to Midelt. You will pass through the city of Ifrane, which is considered the coldest place in Morocco. Ifrane is also known as the Switzerland of Morocco because of the housing architecture and snowfall that drapes the city. Continuing your journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains to the Cedar forest in Azrou, which is 3940 feet in elevation. Here you will have the opportunity to feed the endangered Barbary (Macaque) Monkeys. You will continue to Midelt where you will stay in a hotel.

Day 5: Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

After breakfast in your hotel you’ll travel to Merzouga via Errachidia and Erfoud. You’ll be travelling via the Ziz Gorge, taking in views of the High Atlas plateau, noting how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city of Errachidia. Here you’ll have lunch and enjoy Berber hospitality. Afterwards, you’ll travel along the luxuriant Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way to Erfoud and Rissani. Arriving at Merzouga in the afternoon, you’ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before checking in to your hotel (BB).

Day 6: Exploring Merzouga

After breakfast in the Hotel you can start exploring the area. You’ll visit the Gnawa people, originally slaves brought from Sudan, to experience their music and lifestyle, whilst not far away there’s the lake of Merzouga with its bird populations. You may also want to visit the nomad wire house where many Berber handicrafts are priced lower than in the big cities. In the afternoon it’s time for your camel trek, guided by an experienced camel man as you set off to explore within the sand sea of Merzouga. Dinner is in front of the tent where you will spend the night (the camp in equipped with flash-toilets and shower). (BB).

Day 7: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Boumalne Dades

On this day, you will will wake you up early in the morning to watch the sunrise , you will get ypur breakfast. After breakfast in the Riad, you’ll leave for Rissani, Tinghir and Todra gorges – the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. Lunch in the heart of the gorge precedes a drive through the Dades Valley, where you’ll see the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”. Overnight in our Hotel/Riad.

Day 8: Boumalne Dades – Amridil Kasbah- Ouarzazate

After breakfast in the hotel you will drive through the Dades Valley towards KalaaM’gouna and Ouarzazate. The route through Dades Valley is the way of the thousand Kasbahs – providing numerous opportunities to take some of your best photographic shots of the trip. We’ll stop at KalaaMgouna, “the rose city”, to purchase the rosewater, which will make your linen smell good a long time after your trip is over. Continuing on to Skoura and the dirds valley you’ll visit the Kasbah Ameridil, a well-preserved kasbah in this area. After some hiking in the valley lunch is in a restaurant overlooking the whole valley. The tour continues to Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa”, whose geography and beautiful landscapes has attracted many world class movie producers. Here you may choose to visit the studios, containing props used in movies, you may have already seen, such as The Mummy, Gladiator and the Last temptation of Christ. Overnight accommodation will be in a local Riad.

Day 9: Ouarzazate – Taroudant

After breakfast, You will head to Taroudant via Taznakht, stopping at Taliouine to visit the Safran co-operative. If your visit coincides with the Safran harvest, you will have the opportunity to meet the Berber women with their families harvesting the safran in their fields. We should arrive at Taroudant in the afternoon, where you’ll see the ramparts and walk within the small alleys in the Medina. Taroudant is often referred to as “the little Marrakech” because most of its walls were built by the Saadian dynasty in the 16th century before they moved to the great “Red City”.

Day 10: Taroudant – Essaouira

After breakfast you will drive to, travelling via Agadir, where you will stop for lunch. Agadir has a large beautiful beach and has been a big tourist destination for many years. There you will take a small walk on the Promenade before continuing to Essaouira, the coastal route offers beautiful scenery, an area famous for the Argan. Along the way you’ll see herds of goats climbing the Argan trees in the quest for riper food. Your overnight accommodation is at a Riad in the Medina.

Day 11: Exploring Essaouira

After your breakfast you will have free time to explore the City of Essaouira tour including : The dramatic ramparts, the Skala the Port, The Skala the Kasbah, and the sandy beach.Overnight accommodation is in Riad in the Medina.

Day 12: Essaouira – Marrakech

After breakfast in your Riad, we’ll depart for Marrakech. On our way – since this is the land of Argan culture – there’s an opportunity to visit the women’s co-operative of Argan oil where they extract the oil that is famous for its culinary, cosmetic and medical properties. After several stops to take photographs, you will continue your travel to Marrakech before checking in to your Riad. After dinner you will enjoy walking in the famous square of Jemaa El fna, entertained with magicians, story tellers, musicians and snake charmers. Overnight be in a Medina based Riad.

Day 13: Exploring Marrakech

After pick up from the airport of Marrakech, our driver and a licensed English local guided will meet you and take you in a guided tour to explore some of the best monuments and attraction in the city, you will be visiting the 12th century Koutoubia Mosque,You will also visit the El-Bahia Palace,The Saadian Tombs, The Koranic School Medersa Ben Youssef,Djemaa El Fna Square, and the MedinaCentral Souks.

Day 14: Transfer to the Airport in Marrakech

After breakfast and depend on your flight time, we will arrange a private transfer to the airport ( included) , assist you with all formalities and end of the tour.
