Pick up will take place from your hotel or airport/ferry terminal/train /bus station, and then we explore the city, known as “the gate of Africa ” , one of the most vibrant , mysterious cities of Morocco. Then we head to Asilah , where we visit the Caves of Hercules. According to legend , this is where the mythical figure of Hercules rested after making his 12 tasks. The entrance to the cave is oriented toward the Atlantic , and are flooded during high tides . Asilah, small coastal town, certainly one of the most beautiful in northern Morocco , with its small medina houses characterized by blue and decorated with colorful drawings(graffiti) .We will stay here overnight at hotel.
After breakfast we depart for Rabat, thecity overlooks the Atlantic Ocean from its location at the mouth of the Bouregreg River. This enchanting city serves as Morocco’s capital and features fascinating Islamic and French-colonial architecture and landmarks. It is also a popular tourist destination, with a rich historical and cultural heritage, a long coastline with beautiful rocky and sandy beaches, an ecologically diverse countryside, wonderful hiking trails and a vibrant city centre with lush, green parks. Visitors can explore the city, relax on the unspoilt beaches and visit the 12th-century seaside kasbah of Udayas.
On this day, we will drive to Casablanca . The city is known as locally as ‘Casa', the capital of Morocco is the industrial, economic and cultural heart of this remarkable country, as well as its most cosmopolitan, liberal and progressive city. While most visitors overlook Casablanca in favour of Morocco’s more popular and exotic tourist areas, this sprawling metropolis has plenty to offer the discerning traveller and has many hidden historical and cultural gems just waiting to be discovered. The city is famous for its spectacular Art Deco and neo-Mauresque architecture, constructed during the colonial period. Explore the Old Medina, a tiny, ancient, walled village; visit the impressive King Hassan II Mosque; discover the ornate rooms, masterfully tiled floors and intricately carved wooden ceilings of the Hispanic-Moorish Mahkama du Pacha; or simply watch the world go by at one of the many ocean-view cafes along the waterfront in Corniche.
At your leisure in Casablanca, we will drive through the Atlantic Coast with couple stops along the way to visit small town such as Safi which known for its pottery work and also the city of Oualidia known for its golden sandy beach. Once in Essaouira, we will drop you at your hotel / Riad.
After your breakfast you will have free time to explore the City of Essaouira tour including : The dramatic ramparts, the Skala the Port, The Skala the Kasbah, and the sandy beach.
On this day you will have more time to enjoy the city of Essaouira . On the afternoon we will drive to Marrakech city.
After pick up from the airport of Marrakech, our driver and a licensed English local guided will meet you and take you in a guided tour to explore some of the best monuments and attraction in the city, you will be visiting the 12th century Koutoubia Mosque,You will also visit the El-Bahia Palace,The Saadian Tombs, The Koranic School Medersa Ben Youssef,Djemaa El Fna Square, and the MedinaCentral Souks.
Pick-up will take place at your hotel or riad in Marrakech. On this 9 Days Marrakech Sahara Tour, you will drive across the High Atlas Mountains, sub-range of Moroccan Atlas mountains, going through TiziN´Tichka port and reach an altitude of 2260 m (7414.698ft) with stops for panoramic views and taking pictures of the Berber small villages that camouflage in the landscape, then drive to the Kasabah of Ait Ben Haddou (declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986). Famous films have been shot in this spectacular stage, including Gladiator, Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, Sahara with Penelope Cru…. You will walk to the Kasbah to explore its building and history and will be an opportunity for you to take some beautiful picture from the top hill location of the Kasbah, free time for lunch in the same village. After that you will drive to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gate of the Sahara.”. Accommodation will be at a riad/hotel in Ouarzazate.
After breakfast in the riad, you will drive through fascinating Dades and Rose Valleys. Your first stop will be at Skoura to walk within the Valley and visit the beautiful and well-preserved Kasbah of Ameridil. Then you will to the village of KalaaM’gouna, famous for its roses fields and rose products. Your journey continues to boutaghrar area where you can meet berber families still living in caves with their goats and sheep. After lunch, continue to the Dades Gorge where to enjoy seeing the amazing Rock formation called “the monkey Toes”. Overnight in a traditional Berber house with dinner and breakfast.
After breakfast depart to Tinrghir afterward Todra valley. View the stunning views of the old mud Berber villages overlooking the valley. Once at the Todra Gorge you can walk under the 300 m high red cliff, where many rock-climbers spend their time. After lunch in the way, you will arrive to the village of Merzouga – where your camel will be waiting you. You’ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea and desert scarf before you ride your camel, guided by an experienced Camel Guide, to explore within the mysterious sand-sea of the Erg-Chebbi. Here your first night will be spent under the stars, or if you like in a traditional Berber nomad tent.
This morning after breakfast, go off-roading and discover Merzouga. This road is the same road used in the famous Paris-Dakar Rally, reaching the Quarry area where you will learn how the locals extract fossils from the heart of the earth. On this Marrakech Holidays, you will visit the nomads who still live in tents which are made from camel wool, there you will learn about the life of the nomads while sipping on a warm cup of mint tea. You will continue crossing the desert capturing the different faces of the dunes and black volcanic rocks. You will pass through small villages to Khamlia Village, where the locals from Africa still practice their musical traditions, Gnawa Music. After the village you will stop for lunch, having Berber Pizza. After lunch continue to the lake of Merzouga. From the lake you will return to your hotel to relax and have dinner, followed by breakfast the following morning.
Today, you will we start your last day to the north through the Tafilalet palm grove, the biggest in the world. You´ll see thousands of palm trees along the 20km of road. This way leads to the majestic Ziz valley, which comes down from the high Atlas and feeds the palm grove. Here you will make a stop and from this high viewpoint, enjoy a magnificent view of the valley. Then you will drive through the “Camel Pass” 1907 m= 6256.562 ft , in the High Atlas Mountains . You will make another stop in Midelt, just in the heart of the Atlas where you´ll have free time for lunch and rest for a while. In the afternoon you will continue our way through the Cedar Woods where, if we are lucky, we´ll see some monkeys. The next place we´ll visit is the city of Ifrane, situated in the northwestern slope of the Middle Atlas at 1630 meters above the water level. Its broad avenues, its urban development with perfect cleanness, the gardens, the green areas and its architecture make this city look like a swiss town. Ifrane feels misplaced in Morocco. That is why it is named the Moroccan Switzerland, and if that is not enough it has an important ski resort, Michlifen, About 6 pm we arrive at Fez, transfer to the hotel.
Today we will explore the Unesco world heritage site of Fez and the oldest-largest medieval city in the world. A local licensed historical guide will accompany you as you discover each of the two old Medinas, the largest which is Fes El Bali. In 1981 it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Fes El Jedid, the old city, which was built by Merinids. The former has so many fascinating historical sites such as: Al_Qarawiyyin, which dates back to AD 859, and is the oldest continuous functioning madrasa (Old School) in the world. The Ancient Tanneries where you can witness the tanners incredible labor of making Babouches (Moroccan Slippers) as well as wallets, handbags and a host of leather goods. You will have the opportunity to stroll throughout the Souks (Old Markets) in the Old city of Fez. Pick up will take place at your Riad/Hotel and drive to Meknes City, Morocco’s first Islamic city and second imperial city. Its medina is very old as was a capital of the Kingdom and had a Powerful leader. You will discover the most important monuments in Meknes city such as Palais Dar El Makhzen, Bab Mansour, Bab El Khémis, and Moulay Ismail Mausoleum and the square of Lahdim. You will have a break to have your lunch in the city of Meknes. Then, on this 9 Days Marrakech Sahara Tour, you will drive to the next stop: Volubilis, the best preserved Roman ruins in the North Africa to Learn about the historical Roman city that was here once by looking at the ruins of the Arch of Caracalla, the Basilica and the Capitoline Temple. After that, You will drive to Chefchaouen (the blue city) through the Rif Mountains, you are going to pass by Ouazzan City and small Village. Accommodation will be at a riad or hotel in Chefchaouen.
After breakfast, self to do tour of the city of Chefchaouen (The Blue City),It is one of the stunning villages at the feet of the Rif mountains. Chefchaouen medina had a Spanish-style square surrounded by many funky arts and crafts stores, roof-top restaurants and cafes where you will spend your night in a nice place to enjoy the breeze and the beauty of nature.
Departure to Tangier and transfer to the airport or ferry terminal and end of the tour.
