Pick-up will take place at your hotel or riad in Marrakech, you will drive across the High Atlas Mountains, sub-range of Moroccan Atlas mountains, going through TiziN´Tichka port and reach an altitude of 2260 m(7414.698ft) with stops for panoramic views and taking pictures of the Berber small villages that camouflage in the landscape, then drive to the Kasabah of Ait Ben Haddou (declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986). After breakfast in the riad, you will drive through fascinating Dades and Rose Valleys. Your first stop will be at Skoura to walk within the Valley and visit the beautiful and well preserved Kasbah of Ameridil. Then you will continue to the village of KalaaM’gouna, famous for its roses fields and rose products. A rose festival is held here every May each year, when the roses are harvested. Since this is the road of the thousands Kasbahs you’ll have plenty of opportunities to take some beautiful pictures. After lunch with Berber family,we continue to the Dades Gorge where you will enjoy seeing the amazing Rock formation called “the monkey Toes” and the still standing Kasbah of Aityul. After breakfast , you will drive towards Tinrghir and the Todra valley enjoying the panoramic views of the old mud Berber villages overlooking the valley. Once at the Todra Gorge you can walk under the 300 m high red cliff, where many rock-climbers spend their time. After lunch in the way, you will arrive to the village of Merzouga – where your camel will be waiting you. You’ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea and desert scarf before you ride your camel, guided by an experienced Camel Guide, to explore within the mysterious sand-sea of the Erg-Chebbi. You will wake up early to watch the sunrise before breakfast. You will meet with your driver and you will start exploring Erg Chebbi and the area, you will drive through the road that was formerly used for the Rally “Paris – Dakar. Stop at Tissardmin oasis where we can find fossil quarries still present in the area, we continue then by a road where we can see nomad settlements and learn their secrets and manners. The next stop will be at a viewpoint to contemplate the whole Erg Chebbi. Then you will continue driving through some Berber villages. Then you will reach the village of HassiLbid where you can walk in the oasis where there are wells of water still working till nowadays, in which the source of water is under the sand dunes. We`ll reach then Kamilia Village, originally from Mali, where we´ll take a relaxing cup of tea meanwhile we listen to a concert of the spiritual music of Gnawa. Transfer to your accommodation and free afternoon to enjoy the town or the dunes next to the hotel to see the sunset. Dinner and night in the hotel.
After breakfast, you will we start your last day to the north through the Tafilalet palm grove, the biggest in the world. You´ll see thousands of palm trees along the 20km of road. This way leads us to the Ziz valley, which river comes down from the high Atlas and feeds the palm grove. Here you will make a stop and from this high viewpoint, enjoy a magnificent view of the valley. Then you will drive through the “Camel Pass” 1907 m= 6256.562 ft , in the High Atlas Mountains . You will make another stop in Midelt, just in the heart of the Atlas where you´ll have free time for lunch and rest for a while. In the afternoon you will continue our way through the Cedar Woods where, if we are lucky, we´ll see some monkeys. The next place we´ll visit is the city of Ifrane, situated in the northwestern slope of the Middle Atlas at 1630 meters above the water level. Its broad avenues, its urban development with perfect cleanness, the gardens, the green areas and its architecture make this city look like a swiss town. Ifrane feels misplaced in Morocco. That is why it is named the Moroccan Switzerland, and if that is not enough it has an important ski resort, Michlifen, About 6 pm we arrive at Fez, transfer to the hotel, and end of our services.
