Today, you'll have the opportunity to experience Marrakech. After breakfast, our local guide and driver will be ready to take you on a guided tour of the "Red City." Your first stop will be the Majorelle Garden, named after the French painter Jacques Majorelle, who poured his passion into this artistic creation. Next, you'll visit the Koutoubia Mosque then, you will explore the historic site at Dar El Bacha,a palace that once served as the lavish residence of the Pacha of Marrakech, now beautifully transformed into an impressive historical site and coffee shop.
Maintaining its architectural charm and historical importance, Dar Bacha has become a venue where tradition and modernity effortlessly merge, offering a memorable experience for both coffee enthusiasts and history buffs.Afterwards, you'll delve into the hidden treasures of the Ochre City. With its captivating historical sites and lively alleyways in the Medina, Marrakech will enchant you with its rich history and vibrant local culture. Explore the winding souks, traditionally focused on textiles, clothing, and Moroccan handicrafts. This colorful maze of alleys and small squares features a diverse range of stalls and workshops dedicated to specific crafts. You'll have the chance to meet artisans skilled in tile work, textiles, fashion, and jewelry, and learn about the rich heritage of these ancient art forms. One artisan collaborates with master craftsmen in brass, copper, and nickel, transforming his designs into beautiful works of art., you'll return to your hotel to relax for the night.
After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, you will depart from the city's bustle and embark on a scenic drive along the rugged route to Ouarzazate, passing through the breathtaking Atlas Mountains. You will make a stop at the Kasbah town of Aït Ben Haddou, which rises to 1,160 meters, creating a striking contrast against the expansive plateau. Once a vital crossing point for traders traveling the Sahara Desert, this UNESCO World Heritage site is also famous as a filming location for movies like "Lawrence of Arabia" and "Gladiators." An optional lunch will be available at a local restaurant. Afterward, You’ll transfer to your hotel for dinner.
Start your day with breakfast at your hotel before departing in the morning for Erfoud. We will stop in Kelaa M’Gouna, renowned for producing cosmetic products from locally sourced roses. Continuing northeast, we’ll arrive in Boumalne Dades to admire the stunning Kasbahs and enjoy panoramic views of the valley and surrounding mountains. Next, we’ll head towards Tinghir and the Todra Gorges, which rise 300 meters high and are among Morocco's most impressive natural sites. The Todra Gorge is a top destination for climbing and trekking, featuring steep walls with hundreds of routes for sport and multi-pitch climbing. An optional lunch will be available at a restaurant overlooking the magnificent canyons. Afterward, we’ll proceed to Erfoud and then drive to Merzouga, where you can enjoy a camel ride at sunset.
Enjoy breakfast in the camp while watching the sunrise. Afterward, we’ll transfer back to Skoura along the Thousand Kasbahs Road. An optional lunch is available at La Petite Gorge Restaurant in Tinghir. We'll continue to Skoura village, stopping at the stunning Palmeraie and visiting the 17th-century Ameghdil Kasbah. Finally, we’ll transfer you to your hotel.
Enjoy breakfast before driving west through the High Atlas Mountains, navigating the stunning Tizn Tichka pass on the way to Marrakech. This winding road is one of just two passes through Africa's largest mountain range. An optional lunch may be taken along the way, with an afternoon arrival in Marrakech.
